The innovative study programme TALENT attracts international students, encourages academic mobility, and strengthens knowledge transfer. Through an individualised teaching approach, students develop competencies that make them competitive in both domestic and international labour markets.
The graduate university study programme TALENT has been reviewed by international experts and verified by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education. Teaching is delivered in person and online, with up to 20% of classes held remotely, at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. The programme is implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and the Faculty of Organization and Informatics of the University of Zagreb, ensuring an interdisciplinary teaching model.
The programme was designed in response to the increasing need for sustainable mobility of people, goods, and information. Sustainable mobility has been recognised as a key driver of economic growth, while new technologies and digitally supported transport and logistics processes have created demand for new competencies and specialised knowledge.
The four-semester TALENT curriculum includes mandatory and elective courses, a project assignment, and a master’s thesis. Students gain knowledge and skills in logistics and mobility management aligned with labour-market needs. They also have access to more than a dozen modern laboratories and cooperation with internationally recognised experts in data mining applications, intelligent logistics services, advanced traffic management systems, e-maintenance in transport and logistics, smart railways, virtual reality in transport and logistics, continuous improvement methods, design thinking in digital transformation, communication security in transportation, reverse logistics, and quality management.
The study programme was developed within the project LoMI – crossing borders through internationalization, co-financed through the Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020 Operational Programme of the European Social Fund.
