The Faculty of Transport Sciences, University of Zagreb, has been organizing the international scientific and professional conference Transport Science and Development (ZIRP) -> now called TRANSCODE since 2001. From the beginning, ZIRP / TRANSCODE was held as part of the Auto Show and Transport Show fairs, which were held alternately in March for a certain number of years. Since 2002, the Croatian Association of Graduate Engineers and Engineers of the Faculty of Transport Sciences, University of Zagreb (AMAC-FSC) has joined the Faculty in organizing the conference.
The founder of the conference is Prof. Dr. Sc. Čedomir Ivaković with his associates, and over the years, the conference has become one of the leading regional conferences in the field of transport, logistics and aeronautics with clear international recognition (an average of two hundred participants from twenty countries in Europe and the world, and a respectable international Program Committee). During the mentioned period, ZIRP conferences were held under the following titles:

TRANSCODE offers the added value of networking all participants while promoting current solutions and insights from the fields of transport, logistics and aeronautics. It systematically promotes a scientific, but also professional approach while promoting the implementation of innovative solutions in everyday business, which fully justifies the Conference’s role in the professional and scientific community.
During the Conferences held, numerous current thematic areas were discussed, such as: sustainable mobility, logistics, traffic safety, application of data science and artificial intelligence, traffic management, improving competitiveness in the transport and logistics services market, intelligent transport systems, development of aeronautics…
Our TRANSCODE Conference is in its third decade of existence, and its future is focused on strengthening the connection between scientific institutions and economic entities, both at the domestic and international level, with the application of science in practice.
