The graduate Water Transport programme provides advanced knowledge in river and maritime transport, port logistics, transport technologies and planning and management of transport processes. The programme is aligned with labour market needs and international standards and prepares students for professional and managerial work in all segments of water transport.

The graduate Water Transport programme trains students for analysis, planning, design and management of complex processes in river, maritime and port traffic systems.

The programme focuses on transport technology, traffic organization, safety procedures, logistics processes and modern infrastructure of port and water traffic systems.

About the Programme

The programme provides an interdisciplinary approach to the field of water transport through technological, organizational and logistics courses. Students are trained for work on port system management, design and optimization of water transport flows, safety and technical analysis, and participation in development of national and international water transport projects.

Teaching is conducted in accordance with the latest EU standards and practices, using specialized tools, systems and simulations for planning and management of port and navigable traffic systems.

Curriculum

The curriculum covers water transport technology, logistics and port operations, planning and management processes, safety procedures and modern infrastructure systems. Emphasis is placed on practical assignments, modelling tools and contemporary port and navigation management approaches aligned with EU standards.
