TWIN-SAFE – Advancing Road Safety Through Twinning
Project description
TWIN-SAFE aims to strengthen the research capacity of the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences of the University of Zagreb through cooperation with Lund University in Sweden and Hasselt University in Belgium. Its broader vision is to establish the Faculty as a centre of excellence in multidisciplinary research, education, and innovation in road safety. Through knowledge exchange, promotion of best practices, and a joint research initiative on the relationship between road infrastructure characteristics and driver behaviour, the project develops an ecosystem that connects academia, industry, and regulators in addressing a major societal challenge.
