The Sustainable Multimodal and Urban Transport programme prepares students for addressing challenges of modern urban transport, integration of different transport modes and optimization of transport in order to increase the quality of life of residents.

The Sustainable Multimodal and Urban Transport programme is directed toward development of modern, efficient and environmentally acceptable transport solutions in cities and regions.

The programme links knowledge from road, railway, water and public urban transport and enables understanding of multimodal systems, mobility planning and sustainable development.

About the Programme

This programme educates specialists who understand the dynamics of contemporary urban transport, integration of multiple transport modes, sustainable mobility concepts and modern transport technologies. Students acquire knowledge in passenger and freight transport organization, multimodal systems, innovative tariff policies, urban mobility and optimization methods.

Special emphasis is placed on smart cities, multimodal hubs, shared mobility, rural mobility, integrated passenger transport and the connection between transport and urban development.
