ANNOUNCES A VACANCY FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF
One employee (m/f) for the position of project associate on the Horizon Europe project Achieving Human-Machine Collaboration with Artificial Situational Awareness (AWARE) at the Department of Aeronautics, full-time, fixed-term until 31 March 2026.
REQUIREMENTS:
completed university graduate study in Mathematics and Computer Science or in Computer Science
excellent command of English, spoken and written
desirable knowledge in the field of aeronautics, especially air traffic management (ATM)
desirable knowledge of the preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects
JOB DESCRIPTION:
development of a machine-learning application
creation of a dataset for training the application
selection of the machine-learning model
testing of model performance
integration of the model with the rest of the system

Applicants who obtained their qualifications abroad must submit a decision on the recognition of the foreign higher-education qualification (https://www.azvo.hr/ured-enic-naric/), and foreign nationals must also provide proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (C2 level).

The Faculty reserves the right to conduct tests of knowledge and skills for applicants who satisfy the formal requirements. Candidates will be informed of the place and time of the assessment by e-mail to the address stated in the application. If a candidate does not attend the assessment, it shall be deemed that the application has been withdrawn.
The Faculty reserves the right not to adopt a decision on the selection of applicants and to cancel or suspend the vacancy notice without special explanation.
Rok za podnošenje prijave na natječaj je 8 dana od objave natječaja. Prijava na natječaj s traženim dokazima dostavlja se isključivo elektroničkom poštom na adresu: pisarnica@fpz.unizg.hr s naznakom "za natječaj – projekt AWARE". Sve zakašnjele i nepotpune prijave neće se razmatrati niti će podnositelji takvih prijava naknadno biti pozvani da dopune prijave.
