Transport
The Transport programme provides broad engineering education across road, rail, urban, air and water transport together with information and communication technologies. It prepares students to design, analyse and manage contemporary transport systems with emphasis on sustainability, digitalization, safety and intelligent transport solutions.
About the programme
The Transport programme provides the foundation of transport engineering and spans the knowledge required to understand, develop and optimize the complex systems that keep modern society moving. Students build a strong technical base in mathematics, physics, mechanics, geoinformatics, communication technologies and transport sciences before applying that knowledge to real planning, operational and strategic transport problems.
The programme covers road, rail, air, water and urban transport together with their integration into multimodal and intermodal systems. Students work on traffic-flow analysis, infrastructure planning, transport studies, GIS-based modelling, simulation, safety management and mobility planning, which makes the programme a broad entry point into multiple specialist study tracks and professional roles.

- Electives include modern traffic management systems, reverse logistics, cost-benefit analysis, urban rail systems, railway transport safety, marketing in transport, intelligent passenger information systems, multimodal hubs, smart city applications and autonomous mobility.
- Core courses cover traffic planning, transport infrastructure design, traffic flow management, public urban transit, transport simulations, and road traffic safety.
- Electives include intelligent transport systems in urban contexts, mobility as a service, advanced modelling and optimization methods, urban logistics, and traffic accident analysis.
- Core courses cover aerodrome infrastructure and operational procedures, air traffic management basics, aircraft technology, flight theory, air law and regulation, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling, freight management, tariff systems and flight ecology.
