Lifelong Learning

The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences provides lifelong learning programmes to complement previously acquired knowledge and professional experience with new insights from contemporary science and practice, encourage the exchange of experience with peers from the same professional field, and address practical problems through the learning process. Lifelong learning at the Faculty is delivered through a range of education programmes, workshops, conferences, and summer schools.

The Regulations on Lifelong Learning define the concept of educational programmes, responsibility for their delivery, the method and procedure for approving a programme, admission requirements for participants, the mode of delivery, the rights and obligations of participants, the certificates issued upon completion, and the procedure for reviewing and evaluating programmes.

A programme may be proposed and organised in cooperation with partners outside the Faculty and the University. Depending on its content and learning outcomes, it may be delivered as a programme that leads to an academic title or as a non-degree programme, either in classroom format or online.

The Faculty continuously delivers education for topics relevant to industry and the public sector, shaping each programme in line with contemporary professional needs, labour-market demands, and technological development.
