Mission
The mission of the Independent Chairs is to transfer existing knowledge and create new knowledge, while supporting the application of knowledge from specific areas relevant to the scientific field of Transport and Traffic Technology, but not necessarily tied to a particular branch of transport.
Vision
Because the Independent Chairs contribute to the overall educational process of students, the aim is to develop infrastructure and provide additional training to existing staff in order to enable an individual approach to students and a high-quality transfer of fundamental knowledge. Furthermore, the goal is to enhance the existing laboratory and establish new ones so that research in specialized areas contributes to the transport profession.
