ANNOUNCES A VACANCY FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF
one employee (m/f) for the associate position of senior assistant in the scientific field of Technical Sciences, scientific branch Transport and Traffic Technology, fixed-term until 30 November 2026, full-time, at the Department of Traffic Signalling, for work on Croatian Science Foundation project IPS-2024-02-3188 entitled “Electric Scooters in Urban Environments: A Study of Safety, Infrastructure, and Mobility Dynamics (eSCRUB)”.
Applicants responding to the vacancy notice must meet the general conditions prescribed by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette 119/2022), and must submit appropriate evidence thereof.
Pristupnici moraju imati akademski stupanj doktora znanosti iz područja tehničkih znanosti, polje tehnologija prometa i transport vezan uz sigurnost cestovnog prometa. Također, trebaju imati iskustva u radu sa simulatorima vožnje te u statističkoj obradi i modeliranju podataka.
Pristupnici dostavljaju potpisanu prijavu, životopis u EUROPASS formatu i dokaze o ispunjavanju uvjeta. Poželjno je dostaviti i podatke o dosadašnjoj znanstvenoj, nastavnoj i stručnoj djelatnosti.
Ako su pristupnici kvalifikaciju stekli u inozemstvu trebaju dostaviti rješenje o priznavanju inozemne visokoškolske kvalifikacije (https://www.azvo.hr/hr/ured-enic-naric/priznavanje-kvalifikacija/ ), a strani državljani dužni su priložiti i dokaz o poznavanju hrvatskog jezika (C2 razina).
Applicants who invoke a preferential right in employment under special regulations must explicitly state this in their application and attach all documents prescribed for exercising that right. Such applicants shall enjoy preference in employment over other applicants only under equal conditions.

The Faculty reserves the right to conduct interviews as well as tests of knowledge and skills for applicants who satisfy the formal requirements. Candidates will be informed of the place and time of the assessment at the e-mail address provided in the application. If a candidate does not attend the assessment, it shall be deemed that the application has been withdrawn.
The Faculty reserves the right not to adopt a decision on the selection of applicants and to cancel or suspend the vacancy notice without special explanation.
The deadline for submitting applications is 30 days from the publication of the vacancy notice. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered, and their submitters will not subsequently be invited to supplement them.
