KAAT – Knowledge Alliance in Air Transport

KAAT was created to bridge the gap between the academic and vocational pathways in aviation education and training. In many contexts, the lack of procedures for recognising prior learning and acquired experience makes transition from licensed vocational occupations to academic study difficult. The project therefore developed a new study programme, “IT Applied in Aeronautics”, proposed innovative training methods such as blended learning and personalised educational development, and defined a methodology for a sectoral qualifications framework in air transport.
